Important notes for students regarding results
These are some important points that all students must read prior to accessing assessment results.
- In order to pass a module, you must achieve a pass or higher in the examination. If you fail an examination you will fail the module regardless of you module assignment result.
Assessment results quoted are based on the following:
Examination Results (All programmes):- Where the module includes a Learner Reflection, the examination marks quoted are out of a possible 50 marks. The examination pass mark is 20 marks. Where modules do not include a Learner Reflection, the examination marks quoted are out of a possible 70 marks. The examination pass mark is 28 marks.
- Your overall result is the combination of the individual assessment marks. The overall combined total mark available for a module is 100.
- All results posted are the actual marks and are not percentages.
X – means exemption or not attempted exam.
- All results are final and confirmed by the Examinations Board
Overall Grading
Please note the grading is only applied to the overall award e.g., Higher Certificate, Bachelor of Business and not to individual modules.

N.B. Please note that if you have to repeat a failed examination at award stage, you will not be eleigible for an award higher than pass regardless of the re-sit examination result.
