IIPMM Launches Purchasing Managers Sentiment Index
The Institute today launched its Purchasing Managers Sentiment Index. The survey is designed to get the views of Purchasing Managers throughout Ireland on a number of important topics. We will be conducting the survey on a quarterly basis. A summary of the survey findings will be available in our members area. Tainiste Launches Procurement Innovation Group Report and 10-Step Guide

The Tánaiste and Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment, Ms. Mary Coughlan, T.D., together with the Minister of State at the Department of Finance, Dr. Martin Mansergh, T.D., and CEO of Enterprise Ireland, Mr. Frank Ryan, today (Thursday, 23 July 2009) published a new handbook entitled “Buying Innovation, The 10 Step Guide to SMART Procurement and SME Access to Public Contracts”, intended for use by all public sector organisations. The handbook was published in conjunction with her launching the Report of the Procurement Innovation Group, “Using Public Procurement to Stimulate Innovation and SME Access to Public Contracts”.
