Payment Policy

IIPMM as private provider of third level education charges tuition fees on its programmes.

IIPMM as a Professional Body charges membership fees to its members

IIPMM provides professional training for which it charges fees

IIPMM provides networking and other events for which it charges fees

Please note that fees quoted represent the education programme fees for the first year of any given programme. Fees are subject to revision on a year-by-year basis.

IIPMM requires that learners’ fees are paid in full by the end of the academic period. No academic certificates or transcripts will be released until all fees due are paid

Learnerspay in full in advance of the course commencement.

Learners are required to pay a deposit on application for entry to the education programmes. Where a learner has been offered a place on an education programme, the deposit will be offset against the fees due for the academic year.

Learners who have not paid yearly fees will not be automatically registered on subsequent stages of any programme.

Learners can pay their fees using any of the following methods: 

Our Online Payment System;
EFT Payment via Online or Telephone Banking;
Cheque; or
Invoice to learner’s employer for the full fees due (requires express permission of the employer).
The preferred method of payment is via our Online Payment System.

Academic Requirements Policy

The learner undertakes to read the Syllabus and ensure they understand the nature of the programme and the commitment that they are making in respect of the education programmes of the Irish Institute of Purchasing and Materials Management.

In particular, learners must read and agree to abide by the rules and regulations, as set out in the Learner Handbook and Quality Assurance Policy and Procedures which are available on request.  In particular, the learners understand that cheating or personation in assessments may result in being barred from sitting any Institute assessments and that plagiarism in respect of assignments may also result in cancellation of results and being barred from taking any Institute assessments.

It is the learners responsibility to inform the Institute of any changes in personal circumstances including, changes of address, phone numbers and email addresses during the academic year. It is the learners responsibility to ensure that they have enrolled on the appropriate tuition course for the IIPMM programme.

Learners understand and confirm that they have internet access and that all study material is only be available on-line via the Institute’s Moodle system

Submission of an application online for enrolment on a course or module does not and cannot be constitute acceptance of that application. All acceptances or enrolments will be confirmed in writing and no contract or student status exists until a written confirmation has been issued by the Institute.

Refund Policy   

 Where a deposit is accepted to secure a place on a programme. Learners should be aware that the deposit is non-refundable. Only at such time when a programme subsequently does not run, a full refund will be offered.

All tuition fees are non-refundable once a course commences. 

Learner Applicants who have paid their deposit only AND withdraw their application up to 30 working days prior to course commencement will be have their deposit refunded in full minus a 20% administration fee.

Learner Applicants who have paid their deposit plus additional course fees AND withdraw their application up to 30 working days prior to course commencement, will have their course fees minus their deposit plus and an administrative fee of €250 refunded. In such cases the full deposit payment will be retained by IIPMM. 

Learners who seek a deferral, 30 days before the course commences, can apply their deposit to the following year.
In all cases the €50 application fee is strictly non-refundable.

The Irish Institute of Purchasing and Materials Management (IIPMM) acknowledges that we collect sensitive information about our website users. As this is a great responsibility we have prepared this statement which demonstrates our commitment to keeping all information gathered about our members and learners absolutely confidential. 

Data Protection Act

IIPMM holds information on members and learners in accordance with current Data Protection legislation, and will adhere to any other relevant future legislation in this area. Under this legislation, members and learners can obtain a copy of all information which we hold on our databases in relation to them. Protection of Enrolled Learners (PEL) Activation Consent

Learners are required to consent to their data being transferred to a Protecting College, in the event that PEL arrangments need to be activated

Use of Information

 IIPMM uses information to process your requests, provide you with our courses, programmes, services, materials and products and otherwise to contact you. We also may provide you with promotional materials about our services and products. We may also contact you in relation to events and, other related information that we believe would be of interest to you via the postal address; email address and/or contact number provided.

Membership and Learner Duration

Information shall be retained by IIPMM for the duration of an individual's membership. Membership is for an indefinite period but may be terminated at the members request by contacting the Institute. We are required to retain learner information indefinitely as we are responsible for the safe keeping of all academic records.  

Public Forum

The IIPMM via its website may from time to time make available, chat rooms, forums, message boards, and similar media for members to express views and ideas. It should be noted that information posted to these areas becomes public information and IIPMM advises that no personal details should be disclosed in such areas.
